Squeaker Support
Squeaker - Dog Training Sounds is a paid iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch app for squeaker, clicker, and whistle training cues.
Getting Started
Open the app and choose one of the three modes:
- Squeaker for attention, play, and reward moments
- Clicker for precise positive-reinforcement markers
- Whistle for adjustable distance cues
Start with your device volume around 30-40 percent, then adjust carefully for your dog and environment.
Audio Safety
Squeaker includes output limiting and frequency warnings, but you should still use sound cues responsibly:
- Avoid playing sounds close to a dog's ears.
- Start at a moderate volume.
- Stop using a cue if your dog appears uncomfortable.
- Use the whistle mode carefully around children or people sensitive to high-frequency sounds.
Widgets And Quick Actions
Squeaker includes Home Screen quick actions and widgets for fast access to training modes. If a widget does not play directly in the background, it should open the app to the requested mode so you can play the cue immediately.
Apple Watch
The Apple Watch app includes quick access to the same training mode categories. Make sure the watch is paired with the iPhone and that the app is installed on the watch.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot hear a sound:
- Check the device volume and silent-mode settings.
- Confirm the selected mode and sound profile.
- Try a lower whistle frequency, since very high frequencies may be hard for some people to hear.
- Restart the app.
- Reinstall the app if the issue persists.
If widgets or quick actions open the wrong mode:
- Open Squeaker normally once.
- Switch to the desired mode inside the app.
- Try the widget or quick action again.
- Restart the device if stale widget state persists.
